Farewell to Mohawk Paperbacks Plus

Lise, the owner of Mohawk Paperbacks Plus in Springfield, Oregon just sent me a note to say she was retiring after twenty-one years in the bookstore business. I’m old enough to understand change comes to all of us, but I don’t have to like it.

She has put readers in touch with thousands of authors and tens-of-thousands of books. She will be missed.

I drove by yesterday and said, oh no no way! So sad and hoped they just moved. Enjoy retirement as I am envious and close myself I understand. In addition books I’ll miss I will miss the great crocheted wash cloths.

Lise is still “on-line” at her bookstore email address. She might like to hear from you.
