This business of packing up and moving to a different domicile hammers me with the difference between what we need and what we actually accumulate. So, I’ve decided once again to start three lists: What to keep, what to give away, and what to sell.
I suppose I should start with my fishing gear and the twenty-two or twenty-three…no make that twenty-five…fishing poles. (I forgot the two backpack rods, the type that pull apart into five sections.)
I think I’ll keep the brown one, the one I used years ago to catch a limit of Brook Trout in Wolf Meadow Pond. Even though I haven’t used it in thirty years, this could be the year. I might just use it for crappie this year. The black one belongs to someone else who might just claim it someday.
Let’s see, now. I need a light weight rod…
